ENGLISH VERSION 13

April 30, 2013:

Is ready with the Harley, to set course for the "Gullaboträffen" in Sweden here Friday the 3rd of May. There is a 20 Year Anniversary this year, so I wonder if something extra will happen on that occasion?

Departure it goes Friday 3rd May in the morning. The goal is Gullaboträffen in Sweden, so for many years has been my "starting shot" at Harley season. A small fresh trip of 300 kilometers, but still somewhat longer on the approach than the return trip. I must, as usual, just around Brömsebro in eastern Sweden and visit Carina and Bosse Blomlöf who have "Blomlöfs Rökeri" on Rökerivägen in Brömsebro, 37045 Fågelmara, if you come to the edges. They have a Cafeteria, so if you are hungry, just look in and say hello to Carina and Bosse from me.

I was also lucky enough to meet Gerard from Holland, whom I have known for many years. Normally the whole Dutch "team" of Harley drivers comes here at Røgeriet, on their way to Gullaboträffet, but we probably landed a little early or maybe late, I know. After eating well, we drive together to Gullabo where there have already been many, unlike the other years where I have almost always come first. Here we find the rest of the Dutch and it will be a warm reunion, just like with the many Swedes who have already appeared at the meeting place.

It will be the start of an always wonderful weekend with many old Harley friends from near and far. As always, I will be the only Dane, except for Carina and Eva who are Danes, but have lived in Sweden for many years, so …

Great fun in nice sunshine where the talk goes on the year that has passed in the summer that awaits. Always nice to meet and start the season here in Gullabo, where probably 90% are repeaters from previous years, who also enjoy this little spot on Earth with the Harleys as a gathering point. It is the 20th Anniversary Meeting this time, where the previous wooden organizers have chosen to resign after pulling the load for now 20 years and doing it all super. I do not remember exactly how many years I have been here at the Gullabo meeting, but a little head count and otherwise bad memory comes to something in the direction of 15-17 years, so I wonder if I am considered a permanent fixture around here.

Friday afternoon and evening is, as always, in the sign of the party where a lot of reunions are just done and a few beers so the party starts to take shape early in the day. There are a lot of people landing this year, already on Friday, maybe because rumor has it that it will be the last Gullabo meeting. But luckily some others have taken up the gauntlet and will try to arrange future meetings here and we wish you all the best with getting it up and running.

On Saturday I usually drive to Gullabo, as there is a larger city market there the same weekend, but I was shown plenty to drink on Friday, so I would be wise at Træfpladsen if there should still be too much in the blood, there is no reason to do something stupid. But it is now also very cozy here on the square, where the conversation is lively and a lot of memories and stories become part here at the season's first Harley meeting.

In the afternoon there are the usual competitions where winners and losers later receive prizes for participation and the accompanying honor. In the evening, there is a plate of food in long lanes, with delicious smoked products from Carina and Bosse plus various fried meats, salads and bread, in short everything the heart can desire, on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary Meeting here in Gullabo. I myself also hold my little own Anniversary, here where I have been a member of Harley-Davidson Club Sweden for 35 years this year, it is ski'da very good.

All in all, glorious meet as ever. Lots of party with live music Saturday night and warmth by the fire before I find the "bed" and get a good sleep before going home the Swedish country roads heading towards Amager again, where my lovely Lisa is waiting with the heat. Really nice weekend where it all went up in a higher unit so the summer has started perfectly.

Suddenly got a serious problem as the Harley would not start and it turned out that the crank had simply "fallen apart" during start-up, just "click" and then the shaft going out of the engine had come loose from the rest of the crank.

Before I discovered how big the mistake was, I benefited from the help of my close friends Knut and Samuel "Nana", who showed up with the bag full of tools the same day and we started together, as the diagnosis was a bad starter that we could easily fix , but then we discovered how it was and it would be a somewhat bigger game on the "operating table" than expected..

Jubiii, then waiting for removal of the engine and total disassembly. I just had to swallow it for a few days but then went out and got going. Not the big problems in it, except that the engine is not a lightweight and then the garage of only 6 sqm was not all for such an extensive repair.

But the engine came out and I parted it so I could get "out of town" to my old friends and colleagues at the bus workshop on Columbusvej in Gladsaxe. Here I totally disassembled the crank and with the "big tool" I got it assembled again with welded shaft in the exit side. Maybe not the correct solution with welding, but now it never comes loose again. I simply arranged the alignment with a straightening rail ..

May 10, 2014 … A very special day.

My Lisamin and I were on a trip in Lund (Sweden) with accommodation at Hotel "Djenkis Khan". A super cozy hotel with good food. We went a few times to Lund center and had a little fun with each other in the busy city.
It was the first 25 years with my Lisa and then we can just as well start the next 25 years together. Thank you for your way of being on Skat, it all would not have been the same without You. The two of us are now having a special time in our own way.
Thanks for you ?

Friday, May 8, 2015

On Friday the 8th of May, my middle (12 year old) granddaughter Caroline and I drove to Harleytræf in Sweden, more specifically in Gullabo. So off we went, first over the Øresund Bridge and as agreed to meet with Ulla and Sigurd on their Harley, right on the first parking lot after the bridge. '

Off along the E-22 all the way east to Brömsebro, where my old friends Carina and Bosse own and run a large smokehouse, where we were offered a nice lunch. Satisfied, we drove on to Bergkvara … and from there into the country through Torsås and on towards Gullaboträffen, which is held every year at "Brörkângen" (Birkeengen), which is owned by a local football club.

As always (18th time I participate) a nice meeting where 3 out of 4 are repeaters, so every year there are a lot of "updates" and wise words to share.

I'm sure Caroline made a lot of new friends, because a lot of people would greet and welcome. And at the same time Caroline and I got even closer to each other, with everything we experienced together … Do you think the old man here has enjoyed being together for a nice long weekend?

After the first night, Ulla, Sigurd, Caroline and I drove to the town market in Gullabo itself (located 5-6 kilometers from the HD meeting place), where we walked around a bit before we drove to Torsås and bought some lunch and had fun together on a bench in the city .. As always there were some competitions on Saturday and in the evening good with music and talk for the party. Also had a warm chat with many old Harley friends from near and far.

Unfortunately, one of the Dutch people had an accident on the Harley and was injured quite badly, but he was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Kalmar and had to be in good spirits … We send him the best thoughts with wishes for a continued good Harley summer when he and the bike has healed nicely together again.

For some reason, it is almost every year for the meeting, colder than cold and it did not fail this year either … Ulla and Sigurd were harsh and slept in tents while I had saved a few indoor seats for Caroline and I. .. the two of us just wanted a little luxury, ævbæv …

Sunday morning you shoot yourself and look at the hoarfrost-covered Harleys, but the antiquity (ie the Harley) started willingly and in the morning it went home, with a few cozy stops along the way for a few false stories.

Well home after a total trip of about 650 kilometers, we were received by Lisa and Mathilde (my oldest granddaughter) who had had a few days together for shopping and more than lucky, Malthe (my youngest bb) came along with Mother Stine and Father David, who offered a nice lunch in Dalle Valle in the Amager Center …

A super nice weekend that ends with Lisa and I having fun the rest of Sunday the 10th of May, here on the Day where we have been together for 26 years …
Osto always ❤

Have a good summer Everyone …

Summer 2015:
The summer of 2015 is a bit of a drive on the Harley and otherwise nothing particularly exciting, as my Lisa is still on sick leave and has her battle with the Municipality about what the future should contain.

On August 7, I became a National Pensioner and it is something completely new to be "promoted" to that status, so you just have to get used to it. But it goes quite well, over the autumn and winter, which does not get white or cold, but almost autumn all the time and now in 2016, spring is on its way, so I wonder if we will reach summer without experiencing snow.

March 24, 2016
It was a quiet time since last time, but now the spring sun is starting to announce that summer 2016 is just around the corner, wonderful. !!

I've been in the garage and started the Harley up … started immediately and reported ready for the country roads. Has done nothing about it since it was switched off in November last year and nothing is done now, it spins pleasantly. Looking forward to rolling again.

Thursday, June 30, 2016
A slightly unreal day, because I have not been in the labor market since the beginning of 2010 when the crisis in the labor market really took hold. Both my lovely wife Lisa and I were suddenly fired from the company where we worked. And it was not just us, but close to 100 employees in the company lost their jobs because the crisis really set in and it all came to a standstill.

My previous thought was to continue in the job market until I turned at least 65, because my lovely wife Lisa is 12 years younger, so it was probably no idea that I just went home and did nothing. But fate would have it different, so after termination and unemployment, I went on Early Retirement when I turned 60 in August 2010.

It went differently badly for my lovely wife Lisa, who had incipient pain all over her body, after a tiring life in the labor market engaged in cleaning, including 22 years in SAS primarily in airplane cleaning which is a very grueling job. It left its mark and wear and tear on the body and Lisa was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, which is the term for severe pain throughout the body, a condition all over the world doctors have not yet been able to cure, but only temporarily alleviate with very strong painkillers and performing daily exercises to keep the body going.

But back to Thursday 30 June 2016, when I from Kastrup Airport set course for Thule Airbase in northwest Greenland. I have previously worked in Greenland, in the years 1987-88-89 where I was evenly distributed on both Thule Airbase and in Søndre Strømfjord, or rather Sondrestrom Airbase, as the place was called when US Airforce was also on site.

Departure with Air Greenland where the trip went over the ice sheet, where disturbingly enough could be seen huge areas with meltwater lakes .. one of the largest trains about 10 minutes to fly over, which must give a size of about 120 kilometers, which in itself means a giant melting of the ice sheet, just here. And since it's as early as the month of June, it does not take much imagination to imagine how much it melts the rest of the summer and it must definitely be due to climate change. It is not good…
Now they only use the proper Greenlandic name Kangerlussuaq about the city where the Air Greenland plane was to transport me to. It was intended that the trip shortly after would continue north towards Thule Airbase, with a Dash 8 flights, but there was a report of bad weather on Thule, so the departure was postponed for at least one day, ie Friday 1 July 2016.

I had been quietly hoping this would happen so I could have a reunion with Kangerlussuaq, where I worked in 1988-89 under Greenland Contractors, after working in 1987-88 on Thule Airbase in the same company. My job at the time was a "heavy" mechanic where I mainly repaired all the heavy equipment, such as dozers, excavators, loaders and tugs.

Well, but now I was here and immediately walked around and took a look at it all to see how it all stood since I left the place in the fall of 1989 .. In fact, it was not recognizable again, because everything was total worn and had stood empty and unused for several years. My trip went from the hotel at the airport, where I had to spend the night, over to the other side, which was then called "the military side" when it was there USAirforce recited, with workshops and housing, as well as clubs, dining hall and among other things "Roklubben "Was on the other side, over behind what I called" Kragefjeldet ", as there were always lots of the big black birds around the mountain tuber. As for the Rowing Club, there was, among other things, a nice eatery facing "Lake Fergusson", where we regularly went out and ate back in the times when I worked at Greenland Contractor's workshop here.

Well … Back to Hotel Kangerlussuaq and my room there. Just got confirmed the flight the next day so everything should be in order as the weather forecast was fine for the following day.

It also held and we took off as planned heading north in the Dash-8 that was to fly directly to Thule Airbase, a trip of just over 3 hours up along the west coast of Greenland, with overflight of the beautiful coastline and the rare towns along the way, with a view to the huge ice sheet before we arrive at Pituffik, Thule Airbase.

Well arrived at Thule Airbase, I am accommodated in Barak 334, room no. 10, which faces backwards, away from the road. Really nice, here is quieter without noise from cars, although they are rare.

My new employer within GC will be P&G, Pavament and Grounds, where there will be all kinds of work on roads, gravel pits, signs, houses, yes mention it, this is where it is made.

I started by repairing a stone crusher that needs new crusher jaws, but have stalled as there is a lack of spare parts that are not easy to obtain. Then I drove a rubber goat out on "Larsens Plads" which is the base's quarry. IT WAS pretty hard for my back to bumble around there for 12 hours a day, so it was on painkillers, even though I'm very much against it.

So instead I drove around the whole base washing traffic signs because there is constantly a lot of road dust coming on so they are unreadable. Likewise, I flush containers I encounter on my way so they look presentable. It must also be done. It has so far taken a few days and continues a bit more, not least because they get dirty just as quickly again.

On August 7, 2016 … Yes, then I turned 66 and it flooded in with congratulations on Facebook and I received a letter from my Lisa, with a wonderful setup as a small book with the front page entitled "From Amager to Thule" . The booklet is filled with good wishes for now and the future of our continued life together. Just sat and squeezed a tear when I read it.

Well, but it went worse with my back, so I had to go to the hospital again and was prescribed more medicine and rest, so I had to stay home in the barracks to save my back, just as I went over to "Basegym" and trained my back movement so the stiffness could undertake, however, without the great effect.

It ended up that I had a conversation with my boss, who together with his boss had come to the conclusion that the best thing would be for the employment relationship to end.

Summer 2018 ..

Off I went to Harleymeeting …
Departure on the Harley Friday 4 May to Gullaboträffen in Sweden, which I usually do the first weekend in May … A little special because it is both the meeting's 25th Anniversary and at the same time the last meeting of its kind.

I drive over the Øresund Bridge and across Sweden, first to Brömsebro to have lunch, which Carina and Bosse offered in their restaurant and smokehouse, "Bromlöfs Rökeri". Lovely lunch with accompanying cozy talk as always.

From there on to the Harley meeting which is a little outside Gullabo. As usual I have booked indoor accommodation and just have to go in and inflate the air mattress before I can get out and have a big chat with the many old and new friends in the square. As always, the "team" from Holland I have known for many years in the Harley world, like the many Swedes I have come to know, also comes through my 40 years of membership in Harley-Davidson Club Sweden. Lots of talk, party and fun as always both Friday and Saturday, where also Saturday went with a visit to the large Market held in Gullabo every year.

But also sad this year, when it was the last time this particular meeting was held, a meeting I have attended 23 times and in that way got to know a myriad of wonderful people over the years. But everything has an end and I can only look back on the Gullabo meeting as my favorite Harley meeting which got a big place in the heart, not least because so many regular participants have been with over the years and become close friends, so you just talk on from one time to the next, thank you old Harley friends …

Home Sunday in one stretch of 5 hours drive, only interrupted once to refuel. Nice walk in the sun that gave good color to my face as if I have been south for a week.
Then the summer has started.

Summer 2019 …

Home again…
THEN we just roll the time back to Friday morning, August 23, where I? ᅡ ᅠ started up on the trip to Hadsund in North Jutland and the Harley meeting that District North in Harley-Davidson Club Denmark held this past weekend .. There is now something special just to rumble across the prairie and enjoy the wind and the vibrations of the bike and the road while the miles are eaten to music from the engine just spinning so it is a bright, bumblebee ..

Have driven Harley now for fifty years and never get tired of it, only the gods know why … Can not really imagine a life without, although I probably do not drive as much as in the younger days where it took place in almost 24 hours.

The small 400 km took 5 hours, in dry weather (jubii) and went well with a few tank stops along the way, where the legs were just straightened out. Arrived at the meeting on Fruerlundvej at 3 pm and then the tent had to be erected, fine enough. Met many old and new friends, among others Ulla and Sigurd, Shorty from Esbjerg, Bo, Ib and and and … so the wise words were exchanged in droves, and a beer or two was swallowed in pure coziness. In the evening there was a party and music in long lanes, so no one went to rest by just boredom ..

It was a fairly large campsite with ample space for the many participants where the coziness largely had first place, just as people walked around and looked at Harleys in all shapes and sizes on the site, just huge .. It is always scary to meet like-minded people at the Harley meetings, where than they are held, with wise words and party-minded friends galore?

The trip home went in high SUN and you can demand more .. So the first 240 kilometers went in one fell swoop before I found a gas station that had golden drops for the last 150 km home to Lisamin ❤ who provided hugs and a little crumbs for the palate we could have fun with … IT'S Vito just really go'e to ❤
Outdoors are good, but being at home together is best for Osto ❤

September 28, 2019
Would otherwise have driven to Roskilde, to "GRAND OPENING" where "CAPS Copenhagen", the Harley-Davidson importer in Denmark, holds today where they move into the new large premises on Vestre Hedevej 24. Where Harley import and workshop will hold to the future.

Have instead decided to keep the snot nose at home and save the surroundings for my cough and gallop … Well, that's probably wise enough so I do not get infected others … THEN I just have to come down and see it all another good day. … IT would otherwise have to be BIG, because there are already more than 1300 participants pre-registered, so there will be pressure.

Heard later that it was really big in everything, with guests everywhere to inspect the new premises at the importer .. Funny to think 50 years back, where the importer was named Aksel W. Hansen also called "Robber-Aksel" who had the import in a basement under his house in Søborg, north of Copenhagen. At that time I had been driving a Harley-Davidson for 3 years, but then bought a new Harley Sportster XLCH from Aksel .. Shortly after, my friend Knut, at that time better known as "Walnut", bought the other two new ones Sports stars that Aksel had standing …

October 5, 2019
Nice weather with high sun today, so it was a pleasure to drive away on the Harley in late summer ,, to OPEN HOUSE and SWAPMEET (used spare parts) as well as free food and drink in Søborg at MC-PARTS, a Harley dealer named Frank and workshop run by Frank's son Pede .. A place where I often drive by, to have a good chat and fun .. And of course I buy pretty much all my spare parts from Frank when I am missing, but fortunately it is rare .

It was a super Saturday with many old friends so new lies and old experiences could be shared .. Wonderful to meet the friends, here on the fall slope for the winter …

Thursday 12 March 2020

THEN it is doomed to Corona crisis in Denmark .. At least my lovely wife Lisa, has been called up from work, Byggeri København, and asked to stay home for at least 2 weeks. A strange "state" we have never experienced before, but we try to arrange ourselves in the best possible way. The only thing we walk outside the door is on necessary purchases of food and beverages. And a few smaller walks to get some air, but we take care not to interfere with other people.

Holiday time — Wednesday, August 9th of August 2023

Get off with Tui and Norwegian, against Gran Canaria and Arguineguin on the south coast, where we will have fun for 3 weeks with Hotel Los Marinos as a base, from where we will fuck out and see some of the surrounding area.

The local thermometer says 36 degrees in the shade today Thursday … Yesterday it was 33 degrees, well not so poor for Osto ❤.

In the sun, it is well enough, and the fluid balloon must be closely monitored and refueled in appropriate way, for me with cola nicely diluted with whiskey …

We are looking forward to a 3 -week cozy holiday in Arguineguin … 🌞

Thought it was hot yesterday, but today Friday the heat has crept up to 38 degrees, with cloudless sky and windy, kú well a know 🥰🤪

Then the queen and I took the local bus (2.20 euros) first to the CITA Center in Playa del Ingles and then into the Jumbocentret, got a little dry and wet to the stomachs and then with the bus back to Arguineguin and cozy a little, first up on the sunroof terrace and then ours Own Solaltan .. 🌞

No complaints from here at all !!!

13/8 – 2023

Again a wonderful lumber day, first a little walk around the city, then on both beaches in Arguineguin, up on the hotel's sunroof terrace and down and enjoy once delicious mixed tapas like Lisa had spelled in the kitchen and bavets finish on our balcony with once yatsy .

G'NIGHT AND SLEEP WELL ❤

15/8 2023

Again a warm sunny day in Arguineguin, where we just slipped into the marketplace that did not live up to before. Many vacancies and a little boring. So we fell over and enjoyed a cola on a convenient at the square instead.

So little on shopping in Spar Superen that was bigger than big on 2 floors, actually better than the marketplace. Otherwise, pure coziness as we refined at a local bar near the hotel, where we mumbled churros with deep sugar, mums then … a cold tropical beer, or maybe 3 and a shandy also smoked down our necks before finding the hotel again.

Strange you can't find dark beers here in town, not even Guiness which I got a friendly suggestion of yesterday.

But a super cozy day, which we end at the hotel, with a good time home -made papas con mojo .. Nykogte small potatoes with garbage and plenty of garlic dip, a handful of small toasted bread and cold butter …

Saturday, August 19th

Now we would like to "home" to Arguineguin, but only just a little about what we were enjoying yesterday Friday, with a walk here in Las Palmas now that we are here anyway, with a little food and piste. Not the wild, now that the heat puts a natural damper on the activities around it.

Then it was Saturday and after the bathrooms, we set out on the hike from the hotel, down towards Plaza de Canarias, where the large bus terminal is underground. Find Bus 91, buy a few tickets and get off to Arguineguin and jump off the bus at Casa Memo, which is just 10 minutes from our hotel.

A great day where we back home again, the balcony with a handful of calories and I just get a whiskeycola down, well laid back on the balcony in the heat. Fortunately, we think the sun is hidden a little away behind the clouds so we don't boil Completely away, now that we are well burned in the swear in recent days.

Thanks for again a day of fun in the canary … 😍🤪

We think it was the last time we come to Las Palmas, which is and will be a big city, with what is the case of car smoke (yet), noise and rush hour, so maybe we should see to find another major city to pour with our presence in Next time we are taking overseas.

August 22, 2023

And truly if we didn't find bus 91, jumped on and fed to Puerto de Mogan. A place we have been many times before and have seen how tourism has changed the place totally over the years …

I myself was here for the first time in 1976, when the city was only a small modest fishing village where the locals like to gather at Plaza del Sol and chatter at that time .. There were only a few small eateries where I would like to get on one and got some food and drink .. It's all over now that the whole area is filled with international restaurants and all the old charm is pissed off, in the name of progress.

Think probably Lisa and I have been there for the last time when we couldn't really find what we were looking for, which had simply become too "modern" completely without the usual Spanish charm and cosiness that we remember with joy,

Well puddle .. We found the bus home to Arguineguin and a couple of evening crumbs to please the stomachs.

24 August 2023:

Get off the bus to Puerto Rico, which we know from many previous visits.

Today, the city has grown into a giant, with big shopping centers and what belongs to it, not at all to know again as we remember the city .. But we have fun on such a day visit where we try to see a lot of new and good with it , at night time it's just about coming on the bus home to Arguineguin and the peace and fun we once love. Bum ..

We get to see ……

Autumn and Christmas 2023.

A pretty peaceful autumn and with Christmas Eve at our lovely friends on Strickersvej, where we have enjoyed Christmas Eve together for many years now. Super nice as always with some gifts and lavishly delicious Christmas food and drink .. New Year's Eve my Lisa and I always keep your home and with ourselves. Very nice with fun for Osto and time to hear our Queen Margrethe's always rewarding New Year's speech and bowls New Year for Osto.

January 14, 2024

"Connected, obliged to Kingdom Denmark" …

These were the words in King Frederik-10's election language after the change of Throne at Christiansborg Castle, where he and Queen Mary received the rather overwhelming tribute from the thousands in attendance in the areas around, at and at Christiansborg's Castle Square, as well as during the drive in the car back to Amalienborg.

Big thanks to Queen Margrethe for amazing 52 years on the throne.

My Lisa and I were with it all, at home behind the TV screen of our own Little Castle in Copenhagen S

Last in January ………

I fell over a curb and injured my right shoulder in the fall. Off to doctors, hospitals, scanning, ultrasound and studies.

The shoulder was badly injured and had to be operated on. that if the public cannot comply with the warranty, you have the right to use a private hospital.

But so far so well … Suddenly the day before the Operation on March 18, the private hospital called me and canceled the operation, because their anesthetist would not stun me because I was undergoing treatment for a heart disease .. Fair enough, but they couldn't have said It right away so I didn't have to wait a month, until no benefit and now had to go back to the long wait in public hospital?

March 20, 2024

Here I made a decision, not to return to waiting for surgery in the public hospital system, with 8-9 months of waiting. Instead, I started training my right shoulder myself.

After all, I have a little sense with training, from my younger days, where I trained weightlifting and bodybuilding in "Lyngby Exercise Center" and later in "Atlas Bodybuilding" at Sydmarken in Gladsaxe at Bruno.

Uha, had to admit there will be a long way to results, as I could only lift my arm around 20 degrees out/up with the shoulder muscle, the deltamus muscle, without ugly pain .. But ok, I could then lift my arm out/up with the other arm and then slow down slowly with so much resistance I could now give in the deltamus muscle, with the support of the other arm.

Trained only 3 times a week, not to overload and destroy more than I could build. But gradually, results began to show results. After a few months, I was able to lift my arm out/up with my own help and lower again without support … I was completely acestatic about what I had won.

6 April 2024

Was just a stroll at "Caps", the Danish Harley-Davidson Importer, on Vestre Hedevej 24 near Roskilde, to a Open House, very fun. Got me a nice and good talk with many friends, sharply split out of the false stories in the fun of all the Harley, new and old.

Always nice to meet and get the world's problems or lack of the same in the sign of fun.

Thanks for You today, my old friends

May 10th 2024

Today, my lovely Lisa and I have been together for 35 years. We have had a fantastic time together, with great experiences and love together .. We can never go to bed with dark clouds in the sky but always smile, hug and kiss so we can stand up the next day with a smile

26-28. July 2024

My shoulder injury from January is still too stupid for me to run on the harley, but the training should probably get me on the street again, it gets better and better for every training day, so I'll probably reach the finish, when times come

But then, you have to drive to Funen in the Fiat, here this weekend, to have fun with the friends at "Fyns Harleymeeting", in Marslev. A meeting I have been running for for many years, for talk and a little party and wise words in a row. Happy with among other Freddy, Jørgen L and Nanna and many other, around the table, when I was not walking around and looking Harley´s  and having a talk with old and new friends.

Forgot to take pictures from the table and music, maybe because in the middle of the usual wise talk, we enjoyed a big handfull of "Albanis 1859", a very nice black beer that is really recommended … but whatever, I take pictures next time.

Delighty cozy as always ..

August 14, 2024

Then my Lisa and I just got west to Middelfart to a couple of days of herd and on the road, we drove straight in around the Harley Club's District 2, in Marslev, so Lisamin could just see where I was enjoying HD Meeting a couple of weeks ago .. Unfortunately. there was no "home" so I could say thank you for the last time and shown Lisa a little from the inside of the club.

Always a super Harley meeting, I have come to for many years now.

Here on the 3rd day in Middelfart, where Lisamin and I fought over the old Little Belt Bridge

Well, there was also the September 11 2024

I was the first time in April, inside and cleansed my one heart crane artery, fine enough .. But there was another one, that was total stuffed and also had to be cleaned, but due to medical shortages, we agreed to wait until September with the other operation .. I felt pretty good, so ok with the waiting.

I was then at Central Hospital September 11, and got cleansed number 2 coronary artery (we have 3) an early morning, of a total of 2 cardiologists, 2 nurses and one for nurse, Claus, who was tasked with "servicing" me as needed . Nice, for both of my arms lay down along the side and of course the nose started to itch uninhibited. So I had to ask Claus rub my nose so I got peace of mind.

It was a little magical to hear the doctors talking together during surgery, but the biggest was when one said "Then, there came hole through" and from there was cleaning out completely, so the blood vessel were like new and I got an "stent. “At 48 millimeters in length, to make sure the years don't collapse.

Great ..
